FWIW I thought we lost due to too many unforced errors and not enough attacking penetration.

Feel free to cut and paste this on the Torquay post-match opinons thread later.

It might be worth lumping on a few quid for both to fall at the final hurdle. How about a South Africa and Raikkonen win double just to soften the blow of disappointment? Wink

Razz Embarassed I didn't back my own judgement, though nailed South Africa in a single bet, to win by a margin of 6-10 points at 6/1. Anyone know what price Raikkonen was before the race to win the title?

Shirley Suede kicked off the whole thing and so get lumped into that bucket by default?

Rip on Suede after Butler left for all I care, but before that travesty that is 'Coming Up' came out, they were not Britpop.

1997 was a great year. Blur screwed Britpop off with a great album, Radiohead made the greatest album of all time and a 12 month Oasis coke binge and meeting with Tony Blair single-handedly ended Britpop.

BUT-

While it has dated badly, I must admit I quite liked it at the time. Bluetones were a favourite I remember.
