Are there any plans to run a coach to Northwich?

I could get another couple of names - what about a mini-bus if there's not enough for a full coach?

What time would the coach have to leave by? 4pm at the earliest if I and a few others are to make it.

YMM will run a coach if there's sufficient demand, but noon next Friday will be the absolute deadline for bookings.

I'll post details of prices and departure times as soon as I have them.

Edit: Taking into account possible heavy traffic as we approach Manchester, I reckon 4pm is the absolute latest we can consider setting off, and earlier would be better. How much earlier depends on what you lot think - let me know.

Eight so far - 12 more and it'll be a runner!

I've not had a quote from the coach compnay yet, but based on previous years I'm guessing the fare is likely to be between £10 and £20 depending how many travel.

non-members will be charged £5 more. Alternatively, spend the £5 on a YMM membership and travel more cheaply next time...

Still only nine bookings so far. If you want to add your name to the list pm as soon as possible.

I've had the coach company's quote, and we can run the trip with as few as 16 people if they're all willing and able to pay £20.

The more people that book, the lower the price will get. If 20 come, we'll be down to £16. 30 travelling and it'll be £10.

But that depends on people booking asap - once we've got enough to say the trip's definitely on, I'm pretty sure more people will have the confidence to add their names.

Under 48 hours to the deadline, and we're still short - if more people don't book, the trip won't run, so let me know by Friday at noon.

Fifteen - not far to go now, but a few more would bring the price down, allowing us paupers to afford a drink or two when we get there Wink

How likely is it at the moment that this trip to Northwich will be running?

By the look of it only 1 more person needed to garantee it will run and 5 more people for the price to start to fall and from then on it only gets cheaper

It's very likely to run, though I should point out one person is a "maybe".

At the moment I'm afraid it's a fairly whopping £20, but as Duke of York points out, this will start falling as soon as we get over 16 people.

With 17 it'll fall to £19, 20 people it'll be £16, 25 and it'll be £13.

Thanks Dan, that makes it pretty well certain the coach will run.

Every extra person who books now will knock a little bit more off the price.

Coach will definitely run, leaving the memorial gardens, Leeman Road at 4pm.

If all the definites and all the possibles turn up, the price will be a couple of quid below the current £20, and the more that turn up, the cheaper it will be.

We've had three dropping out, but some more booking, so as things stand IF everyone who's booked turns up it'll be £17.

As more people book it'll fall further. There'll be plenty of room on the day, but if you're going to come let me know, because I'll be able to let other people know the price is falling and hopefully encourage them to come as well.
