After the disappointment of Saturday's game at Altrincham falling foul of the snowy weather, City travel to East London to play against mid table Daggers.
Team News
For City, Minstermen boss Billy McEwan is adament that his recent award as Nationwide Conference Manager of the Month will not affect his team. McEwan said, "I won five Manager of the Month awards and finished up as Manager of the Year at Rotherham in 1989. We went 18 games unbeaten and won the title so I don't believe in all that jinx talk. I think the award is a big thing for the club as well as myself. It's the reward for all the hard work that's been put in". Team selection - wise, James Dudgeon's suspension which was due to take place on Saturday will apply to this game instead, so Club Captain Mark Hotte gets his chance. Otherwise, there should be an unchanged line up as City bid to make it five successive wins.
For Dagenham, boss John Still was pleased with the performance despite their recent 4-2 FA Trophy quarter final replay defeat to local rivals Grays Athletic. Still said, "We played terrifically but didn't get the reward. Grays got their goals and that was that. Obviously we wanted to go further in this competition but it wasn't our year this time around. Now we just get on with the next game and look to see where we can go in the league. We're playing well, so what we have got to try and do between now and the end of the season is to grab as many points as we can from every game." On the Daggers' injury problems, he said, "It's something we had earlier in the season. We coped and got through it. You just do." The one player that will definitely miss the game is midfielder Jake Leberl, and defender Lee Goodwin faces a fitness test. Glen Southam is available following suspension.
