York City travel to Devon in an attempt to boost their play off ambitions against the side one place above them in the league table.

Team News

For City, Billy McEwan is likely to keep an unchanged side from the one that deservedly beat Aldershot 3-2 on Sunday. That means that captain Mark Hotte will be left on the bench, as McEwan continues with the centre back pairing of David McGurk and James Dudgeon. City's new look 4 man midfield played some good football on a difficult pitch last week with new signing Neil Bishop impressing. Up front, loanee striker Tcham N'Toya is hoping to be fully fit to be able to claim a place on the subsitutes bench after missing the victory last week. The Minstermen are currently 7 points adrift of the play off zone and 6 behind their opponents, so 3 points would be a real help in fulfilling their promotion ambitions.

For Exeter, despite their position at the centre of the play off chasing pack, many fans are becoming increasingly impatient with boss Alex Inglethorpe who's side haven't won in their last three Conference games and have been beaten 4 times in their last 6 league games. However, Inglethorpe is remaining positive saying, "if other people want to be gloomy we can't afford to be. We have enough games yet and our destiny is still in our hands. We have to be better than we were on Friday (a 2-0 defeat against Burton Albion) but we will come through it." Long serving defender Scott Hiley has left the club this week and winger Les Afful is out on loan at Torquay.

Possible Teams

City: porter; craddock, dudgeon, mcgurk, peat; convery, bishop, panther, dunning; bishop, donaldson. Substitutes: reid, n'toya, o'neill, hotte, merris.
