Quite a lot of names mentioned. They need to get the next appointment right otherwise I feel they will have to start a fresh with their squad.
If I was Freddy Shepherd I'd go after Martin O'Neil, not sure if he would go but his track record speaks for itself. He knows the British game well and has had great success at Leicester and Celtic.
Guus Hiddink may be an option if he doesn't go to England.

Hiddink would be the man for the Newcastle Job but I expect he has his eye on the England Job.
Martin O'Neil would be a realistic manager for Newcastle, but is he prepared to come back to management?

Hopefully Roeder/Shearer will get the job first time and we'll be watching the Geordies vs Mackems in the championship next season. Just like things were in 1992.

I would like to see Martin O Neill back in football management, I think he could do a good job at Newcastle.
I'd say either Hiddink or Scolari for the England job.

Backed Hitzfeld (10/1) for Newcastle and Curbishley (4/1) for England today in a £5 double.

that is very good odds, reading in the paper today it says Freddy Shephard has been sent sh*t loads of emails and letters from fans saying they want Hitzfeld, and Shephard has already previously stated he will listen to supporters as to who will become manager. I might pop to Ladbrokes tomorrow, cheers Daley.
