Robbie Fowler has re joined Liverpool on a free transfer untill the end of the season.

Didn't see that coming, seeing a few Liverpool fans comments on another board they are delighted and comparing it to winning the Champions League. Clearly a legend there, and given a chance I can't see why he won't score the goals that the Liverpool strikers haven't been scoring.
Good luck to him. |

They dont need him really because morientes and crouch are banging the goals in but i suppose if something happens- it os an option.

Morientes has scored all of 3 goals in the Premiership this season, Crouch and Cisse both have 4.
So they certainly aren't "banging the goals in", although having said that all 3 have put in some good performances. Liverpool just aren't getting a sackful of goals from them.
I hope Fowler will be a super signing for them, good luck to him, hopefully he can earn himself a longer contract.

Can't wait to see his reception from the fans if he plays against Birmingham. Would love it if he got a couple because he is a rarity in the way that he plays for the club and not for his pay check.

Right, I will probably be wrong but here goes.
Robbie Fowler is past it and has been since he left Liverpool, he will not be the greatest influence to the Liverpool attack, and will be like Cisse and Crouch. He will filter out after a few games and will be relegated to the bench, then the Reserves.
Morientes is leaving in the summer allegedly, going to Espanyol... |

I've heard that too, what a waste of money that was. Thing is though, he looked a good buy. What more of a C.V. do you want!? I think Cisse will be on his way out too, somewhere like Lyon probably. I don't think Crouch has done to bad, fair enough the goals haven't exactly been raining in but he's created a lot of goals and perhaps with Robbie they will form a leathel strike combination.
