Stop going on about every fu***r wanting to become a mod in EVERY single thread!
All any thread breaks down into now is a post war between tommihird and LA blah blah blah saying who has the best gramatical skills and who is far enough up laurences ar*e to get the new moderators position. Grow up. The truth is your both a pair of ar*e kissing arses.
YY will never ever crawl from out of the sh*t infested sewer it's in now if every poster starts talking about stuff that they talked about in the f***ing school playground that afternoon. Grow up, show a bit of maturity and then and only then will people start to even consider YY as a worthwhile read. And stop with all the polls FFS!

I agree, you probably should get the mod's job. As you try and start football related threads, whereas Amos just makes himself look a twit by trying tgo start sh**ty intelectual threads, when, bar a few members, no YY's have thre slightest bit of intellegence(spl?).
Just try and keep it sensible, football related, no arguments and show maturity and laurence MIGHT consider you for the mod's job.
At the moment YY is a complete and utter sh*t-pan, with normal posts and no dave helsdon, we can drag it back up again, to be a slightly respectable forum. If everyone just keeps argueing and bickering with every clot that they can, then laurence won't give two shits about closing the place and then banning the lot of you when you all go off into GC/CC, and get ripped apart by the older, better members of the forum.

Agree, but I don't think it's necessary for every thread to be football related. Sometimes there isn't anything to do with footy to talk about. As long as it's sensible I think it's fine.

I didn't mean very single thread should be about football, but it's a football forum so i'd say 70% of the threads on the board should be football related.
Don't get me wrong, i've got nothing against going off topic in a thread, but it just get's on my tits when people like Amos, dave helsdon, marky, "josho" and others take every thread off topic, then start bickering with each other to the extent that mike or woody has to lock the thread.
Why not get each others e-mail adress, add each other on msn and talk about who's spelling is better or who will be the next YY mod. Or just PM each other. That's what the private messaging feature is there for, to be used. So use it, don't clutter threads up with you sh**ty shitness of posting ability amos or helsdon or marky or whoever the f**k posts on here anymore.

Top stuff Dobbo, that was the point I was trying to make with the Greatest Era thread just wmore subtly.
Obviously it doesn't work. Tommi Benjy got the Whoosh for: Posting seriously to a non-serious post.
The idea of it was to go on about what the polls are like, y&p totally missed the point and took it seriously and even quoted the thing I had posted 2 minutes prior.
Seems as if Dobbos got the point and people will have ot be told straight.
