Right, I'm looking after the Barrow website while the webmaster is on holiday for the next 5 months. He left me VERY brief instructions as to what to do when things go wrong. Sure enough, one week in to my stint, and we've hit an iceberg.

Does anyone know what this message means:

Warning: fread(): Length parameter must be greater than 0. in /home/b

It's appearing on the index page and I haven't a clue what it means. Embarassed Crying or Very sad

Could you post a link to where it is appearing? Or show us some source code (the actual PHP it self)?

From what you have posted there it seems simple, just change the parameter so its set to 1 or above, but without Source code its hard to see how it fits into the rest of the PHP. ie what does that parameter control and what is changed by asigning it a different value.

www.barrowfc.com is the page and the error should be up the top.

If you click to go on the main forum then there will be a blank rectangle where the links to the other Conf North teams forums should be and along the right hand column there should be an 'Events Diary' which has disappeared.

Source code? What's that? Embarassed

The error line is source code, its what the page is written in.

My PHP is a little rusty but it looks to me like you may have simply deleted part of the code.

Check your pm's.

I think DMN is along the right lines!

Have you edited the affected page*? When editing a page that contains php (or any other programming language) code, you must be very careful not to accidentally delete part of the code.

I would advise restoring the original page, and re-editing it.

* According to the error message the affected page is-:
home/barrowfc/public_html/pages/main.php

Also, make a backup each time it's edited.
