York City’s dynamic duo David Stockdale and Andy Bishop return to Bootham Crescent after being away on International duty playing for the England National Game XI on Wednesday.

Both youngsters impressed England and Barnet manager Paul Fairclough sufficiently to be named in the final 16 and flew to sun drenched Italy to face their Italian counterparts.

Emphatic striker Bishop was named amongst the starting XI while recent revelation Stockdale has to be content with bench duty behind Aldershot’s Nicky Bull.

The game played in the Stadio Communale Gino Pistoni (Ivrea) ended 1-0 in England’s favour, a first-half header from Barnet defender Simon King inspired the under-23’s to their third win in fifteen attempts against the Italians.
