Please can everyone check to ensure they have a valid email address specified in their profile. (There is a Profile link at the top of every forum page).
It is a requirement of membership to this site that you have a valid email address.
If not, then please change it.
When you change email addresses, your account is deactivated until you re-activate it using the code sent to your new email address. So check your email shortly after making the change.

Hmm, I put in my new email addy, enter my password and hit submit and it changes the email addy back to my current, out of date one and says "sorry, that email address is already being used".

There is the distinct possibility that some Northern Irish nutter used my email addy, yes.

That'll be why then. As you can only have 1 ID per email address.
