City are on their travels for the second time in a week, again to a struggling side, this time in the form of Crawley.

Team News

For City, boss Billy McEwan is likely to field the side that has begun to rediscover it's early season form. So far there have been few changes to the squad since the opening of the transfer window, with only David McGurk and David Pounder leaving, and midfielder Terry Barwick going back to Grimsby injured. McEwan has said he is looking to add to his squad, particularly at centre back where Mark Hotte and James Dudgeon are the only senior pros. At left back Nathan Peat played 70 minutes of the reserve's game against Teeside Athletic but is unlikely to be recalled so soon after injury, with Dave Merris likely to continue. Evan Horwood wasn't fully fit for the game at Scarborough but should be challenging Merris for a place in the side for this game.

For Crawley, recently arrived former Swansea boss John Hollins has seen results pick up recently with just one defeat in five, and was recently named joint Manager of the Month. Recent results have mostly been draws, with 0-0 and 2-2 being the scorelines against neighbours Woking. Daryl Clare netted both goals. Dave Woozley will be suspended for Crawley as he is currently serving a three match ban. Otherwise Crawley have a full squad to pick from, including loanees Tony Scully from Notts County and Tris Whitman from Tamworth. Former City trialist Danny Ekoku however is unlikely to feature.
