A lot speculation about this has arisen, I think it's time that a new Mod(s) is appointed.

Please leave your vote. Obviously it's not up to me who is chosen, but this should give an overall idea of who wants who to be a mod.

thefletch is dead...

Personally, I think that some of the responsibilty should be given to a more experinced or older member of the forum, as well as a "youngling" so when the older Mod can easily hand over to someone else. This would be the way to go IMO.

There should be at least 4 Mods, if YY gains popularity...

Well, you wouldn't be able to just have two mods! (You and him) I think we should wait and see how the Forum pans out and then make a decision on it.

With the risk of sounding arrogant...I think I would be best for this job.

You do talk sense, and I think you would do alright, if there was actually something to moderate.

I am all for the big revamp of YY, you have my support gentlemen.

Well yes, however I think a dictator is needed to turn things round without attacking people (ruling Tommi out who would fail to live without a jibe at someone) after that is done and a list of rules that need to be adhered to has been made up, then it can spread out a bit.

I have compliled my list of potential/not in a month of Scarborough victories candates

OUT OF THE RUNNING:

Helsdon
Josho
Marky
In fact anyone below 14
New comers

POTENTIAL NEW CANDIDATES:

Rob Amos
Tommi Hird
Josh Peacock

TOP RUNNERS:

TommiHird
LA Met

CURRENT MODS:

Mike Wright
Woody

Well Mike must stay as mod hes done nothing wrong since he got here and keeps it under control well enough.

I expect Woody is defunct anyway.

_____________________________________________________________

I did the modding at the same age as Josh and it went horribly wrong as the young teenage immaturity would get the better of him (ASPEREGES TOO) and he won't be able to resist to have the pop at Nico he needs!

TommiHird, would make an excellent mod but do you really want to let im loose with the delete button around helsdon, I expect every post by someone like him would result in that button been clicked. Even thoguh most times it probably is valid!!

LA Met - Well the only person on the candidates list to have expereince in the job, knows the pressures and what you have to put up with. Knows it isn't as easy as it looks and not as good as it looks. Will bring radical change and upbringing in the YY forum making them good enough to be able to go through the youth system and cope in the senior ranks. The obvious choice Wink and will bring up future mods as it gets better!!

__________________________________________________________

Well thats my rather biased yet accurate way of analysing the situation Wink

I will also implement English lessons for all failing YY's! My dossier wil lbe released later this week!

Ooo...asbergers. Always trying to weaken your opposition instead of concentrating on your self!

And I have over half a year's worth of experience of moderating on a forum and I have done fine thank you.

I look forward to Tommi's odds!

No, there won't be any odds, because I have no idea of how the new mod will be chosen.

I'll be a mod.

LA Metros, sorry but your post count is high enough as it is!!!

I don't post in here because the majority of the posts are w*** and are not worth replying to! With me as moderator, there will be a vast improvement made.

Add me to the list hird!

How am I "out of the running". I think the Moderators should be chosen quite simply who can do the best Job, not on their age.

So lets say if you were manager of York City and had to choose between a 35 year old and a 17 year old an the latter had the better ability, you would drop the 17 year old?

I don't know if you're someone else posting under another name but either way, the account you own only has 7 posts to its name.

If you're posting as someone new then you've got something to hide, if you're new then ... well you're new and need to prove yourself as a decent person as well as a sensible poster.

Either way, you're not gonna get the job.

I'm afraid Rob but that is complete and utter crap.

A) How do you know he will make the same mistakes at you, he's probably more mature than you were at his age.
B) Well if he was to have a "pop" at Nico, then you wouldn't if he called someone a Racist Remark etc... (not saying you would) but you wouldn't warn him or anything?

Really, the choice is Laurences, not ours.
