So now it looks like were in a bit of hole losing 3 on the trot, what do you think we can do to reverse York City's fortunes?

Obviously Panther is a big loss to us, Yalcin is no replacement. 4-3-3 doesn't work without him, we don't get enough ball to our Strikers.

Donaldson has basicially been "found out". Stick two Defenders with a bit of pace and you have him sussed. Even though he can still carve open a Defence but he does not look effective than he did before.

How Billy Mac have a "mini revival" of the team? O'Neill out? Although who have we got in the Midfield to drop back from attack?

Billy isn't a good enough tactician IMO.

Sure, he's got an eye for good players, and can motivate the players to some extent, but tactically, he is sometimes all over the place.

I think he needs to sort out the tactics and system that his team uses, and he needs to adapt to certain situations, instead of trying to please the crowd by playing attractive football all the time.

We need strength in depth, we may have one of the worst squads in the league, without Panther, were useless.

We needed a New versatile Midfielder as well as a Centre-Back.

We need a new Goalkeeper.
We need another Centre-Back.
We need an aggressive central midfielder.
We need a target man upfront.

But we won't get them, so stop thinking about it.

Who on earth is Leo Bertos? Is he Greek?

He didn't you just read into things stupidly, he wanted out anyway and scored for our reserves the other day.

And YY don't be typically YYish and reply to Tommis "Who is Leo Bertos" or I will personally shoot you.

I genuinely do not know who Leo Bertos is. Does anyone have a link?

Sack Billy and get Kingmouse in. He'll be sh*t-hot - sign us loads of players on loads of money, get us promoted and then go to Sheffield United.

Or if he got the job for real - he'd get all the players working hard, get us promotion, drop 5 stone and make us all be a part of the life of York City.

I vote that we get Kingmouse in charge of our club.

So you mean when we score a goal we should adopt the old 8-2-0-0 (8 defenders, 2 defensive midfielders) formation?

What about the formation of 5-1-2-1-1 where you pass the ball forward and keep hold of the ball?

Not suggesting that your wrong - but it's more likely we'll play that than your all-out-defence line-up

I'm not too optomistic about this Leo Bertos. I saw him last year in a Rochdale v Leyton Orient match and he was shocking. Reminds me of Yalcin actually, looked like he might have some talent but was reluctant to tackle or even look like wanting the ball.

Just one match though, I doubt Billy would play someone who's not up for it.

yes but Yalcin was picked ages ago for that, he hasn't been picked since because he is atrocious, and I spoke to a Barrow fan and he said the one games that Bertos played for them he was immence.

What league are Barrow in though? Hopefully he can find his feet at Conference level and be a decent asset to us.
