York City Supporters’ Trust writes…
Support the Supporters’ Trust
For all of the Trust’s Annual Members, the membership period runs through to 30 June each year. Please continue to support Your Trust and a future for professional football in York by renewing your membership for 2005/06 – we’ve kept the annual membership fee at just £10. If you have already renewed your membership or you are a Life Member, please encourage others to join.
Within the first few weeks after renewal letters were sent out, over 350 members have renewed their annual membership and fourteen upgraded to Life Membership. YCST now has almost 500 Life Members. In addition to the membership fees, the Trust has so far also received over £1,300 of voluntary donations from its members. Several supporters also generously make a monthly donation via standing order. A big ‘thank you’ to all of those supporters who have contributed.
The membership form for 2005/06 can be downloaded from the Trust’s website and via the following link:

If you have yet to re-join YCST for 2005/06, or you would like to join YCST for the first time, please complete and return a completed membership form.
Please continue to support the work of the Trust, the owner and guardian of York City Football Club.
Benefits of Trust membership to you include……
l An ownership stake in the Trust, the body that owns Your Football Club and which, since February 2005, now also owns Bootham Crescent;
l Working together with other City fans to help the Club build for the future, including helping to put in place a new stadium in the city;
l Membership of what is widely regarded as one of the pre-eminent supporters’ trusts in the UK and a former winner of ‘Trust of the Season’;
l Voting power for the Trust Board, and the option to stand for election yourself;
l An opportunity to be invited to a match as a special guest of the Club Board;
l Communications about York City business (meetings, newsletters, website, media, etc); and
l A series of discounts from local businesses.
Maintaining YCST as one of the best supported trusts in the country provides York City with……
l More fundraising, which is a vital element for the Club’s future success;
l A depth and breadth of support for a club now owned and run by supporters for the fans and the wider community; and
l Credibility, influence and a more powerful voice within the city of York. |
