 |
|
Does anyone else think it would be a good idea to place a list of summer friendlies on the front page of this site under the latest news headline. It would help fans from the clubs we are playing and the more "casual" fans find out details of football they can watch in these football deprived times, and bums on seats means extra cash for the club next season. |

Shame that our club cant publish a simple list of friendlies with the date, instead they find it more helpful to arrange their friendlies then cancel some then say it could be moved and a new club has been announced to play on the date that the other club that have cancel was on but could still play is on.
Confusing right??
What is happening with the official site??
Stu I don't think the club knows what is happening let alone Red & Blue NET.

Try clicking on the last 'sticky' above, it may be what you are seeking.
Alternative title, or a new sticky could be in order here, just for the pre season, then it could be deleted????
Mods/Lardy????????......... NEW STICKY?????

The City Calendar is here.
I could do another sticky post, but then that'd be two posts to keep up-to-date... and I have enough trouble with one!
You might also like to keep an eye on Minstermen.net - Mr Gartside has his finger on the pulse.

I wasn't actually asking for myself, though thanks for pointing me in the right direction. It was more a question of whether it was possible for other fans who don't know the way to this forum to find out information. As there is no official site and if people click on the original site they get sent here it just seemed a good idea to have the info on the front page. Another example is if you click on the link on the bbc. I know that a new official site is in production but at times it seems like the only way less, for want of a word, dedicated, fans can find out info is to read the YEP. I'm lucky and have a slack job and plenty of time on my hands as well as being relatively computer literate so for me to find here wasn't that hard, but not everyone is in the same boat. As for minstermen.net I visit that site as much as I can but rivals.net will usually give a club one season in the conference before they pull the plug on hosting the site as non league football is not in their marketing brief. |

A cunning plan. Laurence?

Only 45 posts to go until your 4,000th LA Metros Hockey Player and so far your only memorable post has been laughing at the Carlisle floods.
If I were you I would make a big effort to make at least one of your next 45 posts something to remember, otherwise your celebratory 4,000th post is going to be a bit of a non-event, don't you think?
This usually involves something to do with a football team called "York City" and involves writing more than one line.

On the same note it's only another 144 until your 7000th therefore posting just like that puts you in exactly the same position.

I doubt that's what your team manager said when he received that e-mail of complaint from those Carlisle fans.

No he keeps joking about it every time I see him, everytime I play for his team or I see him in social club he's always like "you haven't been upsetting anymore football fans have you?" or words to that effect.

Perhaps if you had it would mean you had actually said something!
