The Popular Stand is to be closed for tomorrow's fixture against Blackpool.

Secretary Keith Usher said: "Because of the gate we are expecting for the match we have come to the conclusion that there will be no need to open that stand which means we will be able to save expenses.

"The people that normally go into the Pop Stand will be able to go into the Main Stand or Family Stand. I would hope that they are understanding for the sake of the club."

Communications director Sophie McGill said: "Like our pre-season friendlies, we have decided to close the Popular Stand for our LDV game against Blackpool to reduce stewarding costs on the night.

"We do hope this does not cause any of our season ticket-holders and supporters in the Pop Stand any inconvenience."

The price of admission is as follows:-

DAVID LONGHURST STAND
Adults £10
under-16s, students and OAPs £5

MAIN STAND
Adults £13
under-16s, students and OAPs £7

FAMILY STAND
Adults £11
under-16s £4
