Info I have so far is at:
http://yorkcityfc.com/away/leighrmi.php
As soon as I get any more information given to me I will post it there.
I'm not sure about the coach price (I would guess at about £14 though).
I can get train tickets for a fairly cheap price - anyone interested PM me. |

The Mystery Machine will once again be making an outing across the pennines as the train seems a no-no this time,Leigh seemingly being in the back of beyond.
We're looking forward to banging on the door of another sleepy watering hole chasing some liquid refreshment prior to the game.Wonder if we'll be treated to free chip butties like the pub in Northwich kindly laid on?
We can hope.
One last thing, could this be the game where the away fans out number the home fans? |

I wouldn't scoff about Leigh too much - after all, people would be saying the same about us if we ever acheived the same thing as they have achieved, playing 2-3 divisions above their level.
I would be perfectly happy for Wolves fans to say "Look at York, they only get 4,000 fans" if we were in The Championship - wouldn't you?

Yes, we're running a trip to Leigh.
It's planned to leave from the Memorial Gardens, Leeman Road at 9:30am (Not 10:00 or 9:00 as previously stated in various places )
Cost will be £10 members, £12 non-members.
pm me, call 07956 237 270 or email to book your seat
Can I ask people to let us know asap if you want to go - I've been getting brassed-off having to tell people a few days before a game that we can't run the trip because not enough people have booked, or those that have, have changed their minds after seeing another crap performance.
I don't blame people for not wanting to go, but once you've said you will, please stick with it
Depending on the balance of members/non-members, as few as 25 could make this trip viable, so please, get booking!

From what I remember of looking at the poster on the side of the club shop the Leigh trip is leaving at 10.30am and is £12 (Members) and £14 (Non-Members), I think that is right but if you want confirmation phone the club on 0870 7771922 ext. 6.

Please note that the York Minstermen coach to Leigh will depart from Memorial Gardens, Leeman Road at 9:30am, not 9 or 10 as previously stated - sorry for the confusion. |
